What is K-MOSA?  K-MOSA란 무엇인가?

K-MOSA (Korean Modular Open Systems Approach) is the Republic of Korea's national strategy for applying modular open systems principles to defense unmanned systems. Since 2024, the Ministry of National Defense has been establishing the research and policy foundation for K-MOSA, targeting full-scale implementation by 2027. K-MOSA goes beyond hardware to encompass an integrated framework of hardware, software, data, and AI standards, and is directly applied to Manned-Unmanned Teaming (MUM-T) systems across the Army, Navy, and Air Force.

K-MOSA(한국형 모듈식 개방형 시스템 접근법)는 모듈식 개방형 시스템 원칙을 국방 무인체계에 적용하는 대한민국의 국가 전략입니다. 국방부는 2027년 K-MOSA 본격 시행을 목표로 2024년부터 연구·정책 기반을 마련하고 있으며, 하드웨어·소프트웨어·데이터·AI를 아우르는 통합 표준화를 추진합니다. 육·해·공군의 유무인 복합운용체계(MUM-T)에 직접 적용됩니다.
